Payments with clear protection for both people
Tips are direct and final, exactly like handing someone money. For a meeting, service or trip, choose Secure a payment or Travel funds instead: the sender’s wallet locks the USDT in Passport’s public payment contract, the receiver can see it is held, and it moves only when the sender releases it. The receiver can decline; untouched holds return under the stated contract timing. If a held payment is cancelled, the other person gets 24 hours to accept or dispute it. A dispute is reviewed confidentially with evidence from both sides — so neither person has to rely on a promise alone.

If a held payment is disputed instead of approved, it enters Passport’s confidential approved-judge community process. A randomly selected, reputation-weighted approved judge reviews redacted evidence and makes the initial ruling; other approved judges then anonymously peer-review the completed ruling to help protect consistency and fairness. Neither side learns who reviewed the case. Judges never see either person’s name, profile, or identity—only the pertinent evidence and necessary case details for their role. This confidential review process is fully working today, not a mockup.
